The University of Malaya would like to invite suitable and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Animator/Multimedia Designer.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Essential Qualifications: The applicant must possess a minimum bachelor degree, preferably a Bachelor in Creative Multimedia, Media Design, Advertising/Media, Art/Design or equivalent. Professional industry experience is an advantage.
The applicant is expected to have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in animation, motion graphics and video editing
- Ability to adapt content from various disciplines into multimedia presentations
- Good knowledge of animation software such as; Autodesk Maya, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and Dreamweaver, MYSQL, XHTML, AJAX & CSS
- Experience and knowledge in software and website development is an advantage.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, either alone or in a team.
- To work closely with the COE Director, staff associated with COE and other parts of the University, as appropriate, in the development of multimedia technology projects.
- Create a variety of digital content, animation in various forms, shoot and edit video, create design web-based content as needed for projects.
- Collaborate with staff and technologists in an interdisciplinary environment of research, creative work and teaching.
- Contract (12 months).
